
Celebrating our seniors today as they plan for their futures after MdCV! Students applied for colleges, tech schools and laid out career plans. Each senior shared their plans with our staff and students this morning.


Elementary Parents - Parent Teacher conference time requests are due tomorrow, October 8. A bright pink paper was sent home today for those who still need to request times. If you are unable to send the paper back to school with your student please call the office at 785-759-3512. Your scheduled time will be sent home on October 15.


Our first - fifth graders use AR to earn points towards their reading goals. They averaged almost four books per student in the month of September!

Veteran's Day is fast approaching! If you have a veteran that isn't included in the slide show we would love to include them.
Email mshields@usd456.org a photo of them in uniform along with their name, if sending multiple photos please name the photo file with the name of the service member.
Our Salute to Veterans program will be November 12 at 2:00 PM.

Our High School Volleyball Lady Trojans will have a Pink Out Night on Tuesday, October 5th when we host Hartford and Madison. Wear Pink to support the fight against breast cancer. Matches start at 5 pm!

Due to possible thunderstorms, the junior high football game tonight at Lyndon will be played at 5:30 PM. Students will leave from the JH/HS at 4:30. Again, the junior high football game at Lyndon will kickoff at 5:30 PM.

Today and tomorrow are the last days for our book fair. We will be open today 3:30 - 4:30 and tomorrow we will be open 7:15 - 8:45 for parents to shop with their students.

Tomorrow night our junior high sports teams will be in different locations. The volleyball team will play at Northern Heights at approximately 6:00 PM. The football team will play at Lyndon with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 PM. GO TROJANS!!

Elementary Parents tonight is the first family engagement night of the school year. Our topic this month will be classroom activities. Our schedule is a little different this year due to class sizes and space restrictions. Please see the schedule below for your time.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Junior High Volleyball will bes hosting a "Pink Out" game on Monday, October 4th when they play Olpe. Please wear pink to honor or remember someone who battled breast cancer and to support the fight against breast cancer!
