With the 2023-2024 school year right around the corner, USD 456 - Marais des Cygnes Valley would like to remind parents, guardians, and students that the district will once again be covering the costs of all school supplies! Additionally, we remain committed to continuing our tradition of keeping enrollment costs low by waiving typical expenses like technology or textbook fees.
For school supplies, students should expect to be provided those supplies on the first days of school, and will continually be provided the opportunity to receive supplies as needed for their classes.
For enrollment fees, parents and guardians should expect to only be asked to pay for typical class or club dues when conducting the enrollment process. Additionally, all payments will now be able to be provided online through RevTrak.
Although school supplies are an integral component of education, Marais des Cygnes Valley believes it is important to continue its commitment to providing those tools from its annual budget, similarly to textbooks, equipment, and other consumables. Our aim is to ease the burden on families regarding ever increasing costs associated with their household, as the cost of an education should be covered by the school district's budget.
Marais des Cygnes Valley's most important resource is its stakeholders and the district will continue to be committed to providing benefit to those stakeholders whenever and wherever it can. We hope this commitment provides relief to those in need and a boon to all of the district's students.
