MDCV is proud to welcome Osage County Sheriff's Deputy Jackie Beatty as our new School Resource Officer for the district! Be sure to say hello as she is in our buildings, classrooms or at our events! We are happy to have her in the district!

REMINDER: Student drop off and pick up at the Melvern school building will continue to be conducted as introduced the previous school year. Please review the map associated with this post for details. As a reminder, parents are encouraged to pull up as far as possible alongside the sidewalk, and then pick up students. Please do not block the parent vehicle lane with an unattended vehicle. It is advised that no student pick up or drop off occur in campus parking lots, only in the parent vehicle lane. School busses will be picking up and dropping off in the bus lane next to the gym. Students will need to walk to and from this area to the parent vehicle lane. Thank you for your assistance!

SCHEDULE CHANGE: HS VB has just added a pre-season "jamboree" competition for Saturday, August, 19th, 2023, 3:00pm at Waverly High School. Please see Coach Criqui with questions or additional details!

This year marks Mrs. Ford’s 25th year teaching secondary science. She’s spent time in Effingham, Dento, Uniontown, Axtel, and Lebo before joining our MdCV family. She and her husband Duane have been married for 23 years and have four children. When Amanda isn’t in the classroom she enjoys quilting, crocheting, cooking, watching movies, and playing games with her family. Mrs. Ford looks forward to meeting new families and expanding her network of students and families she has worked with across the state.
Two fun facts about Mrs. Ford - She wanted to be an exotic animal veterinarian early in college but found herself in education because of her husband. Her mom is a 1974 graduate of Melvern High School.
