Community Notice
We want to make our patrons aware that the main campus building in Melvern will be closed tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. so the Osage County Sheriff’s Office can conduct training inside the building (does not include the Gym/Ag building).
During that time, there will be several sheriff’s vehicles in and around the school. This is only a training exercise.
We are grateful for the partnership with local law enforcement as they work to strengthen emergency preparedness and help keep our students and staff safe. For more information please visit the Osage county Sheriff's facebook page.

Marais des Cygnes Valley USD 456 will host Kindergarten Round-Up 9 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the elementary school in Quenemo. Registration will be done the day of the event. Parents should bring their child, along with their child’s birth certificate and immunization papers. Questions should be directed to the school, by calling (785) 759-3512.
