Pep Bus Fueled Up and Ready to Cheer! Our MdCV Pep Bus crew made a fun stop at Hong Kong Buffet on the way to Salina tonight to grab a bite before cheering on our Lady Trojans at the State Tournament. It was great to see our students enjoying a meal together, sharing some laughs, and getting ready to bring plenty of Trojan spirit to the game. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the pep bus possible and to the community members who continue to support our students. Opportunities like this allow our kids to experience something special while backing their teammates on one of the biggest stages. Now the Trojan fans are fueled up and ready to be loud and proud as we support our girls tonight! Go Trojans! 🏀💙

This form should be completed before April 15 for all returning students and those who are new and interested in attending preschool next year as a 4-year-old. **For new students, filling out this form expresses interest in having your child attend. Friendly Reminder – Early Release Wednesday Just a quick reminder that USD 456 will have an early release this Wednesday, March 11, so our students, families, and fans have time to travel and support our MdCV Girls Basketball Team at the State Tournament. Our Trojans will take the court at 6:00 PM at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. We hope to see a strong showing of Trojan support in the stands! Also, please note that the Board of Education meeting has been moved to Tuesday at 7:00 PM this week. We are incredibly proud of our girls and the hard work they’ve put in all season. Let’s come together as a community and cheer them on. Go Trojans!

District Selection Day was a BIG day for Marais des Cygnes Valley FFA! 💙💛🌟 Today we had 7 State Degree candidates evaluated — and we’re proud to share that all seven passed District evaluation and are advancing to State! 🎉📈 Congratulations to our State Degree candidates: 🔹 Ella Reed 🔹 Taytum Gellhaus 🔹 Kate Patterson 🔹 Ty Calderwood 🔹 Landon Reed 🔹 Mady Rose 🔹 Trae Walker We also had four Proficiency Applications, and we are excited to announce that all four were District Winners! 🏆👏 🔹 Dalton Lingenfelter – Agricultural Fabrication Repair & Maintenance for his work at Sloop Sales and Hook Repairs 🔧 🔹 Emily Criqui – Outdoor Recreation for her work at Melvern Lake Marina 🚤🌊 🔹 Mady Rose – Agricultural Communications 🎤 🔹 Mady Rose – Veterinary Science 🐾🐄 Emily Criqui also interviewed for Star Greenhand in Placement, where she discussed her SAE and experiences with the judges. While she didn’t take home the title, she interviewed extremely well and represented our chapter with professionalism and confidence. 💬🌱 We also had three members interview for a spot on the District Officer slate: 🔹 Mady Rose 🔹 Dalton Lingenfelter 🔹 Bella Reeser Out of 25 candidates, only 10 make the slate — and we are proud to announce that Mady Rose is one of those 10! 🎉 She will now deliver a speech at the East Central District Banquet and be voted on by chapter delegates. 🗳️🎙️ We are incredibly proud of all of our members.
