SCHEDULE CHANGE: Out of an abundance of caution and with an eye on focusing on competition dates, Marais des Cygnes Valley has cancelled its' annual "Meet the Trojans" event and the Preseason Football Jamboree for the 2020-2021 school year. In a season of potential uncertainty, maintaining the ability to meet the games on the regular schedule outweighs the want to conduct a pre-season scrimmage. Our aim is to continue these dates next school year.

The Board of Education has posted the agenda for its August meeting, set for August 12, 2020 at 7pm. The meeting will be held at the Melvern commons and will be open to the public. Face coverings are required for all attendees.
REMINDER: JH/HS fall sports will begin practices next week, Monday, August 17th, 2020. Practices will begin at 4:00pm. Contact your coach for further details! All athletes are required to have a physical on file in order to participate!

REMINDER: Enrollment starts tomorrow! August 5th, 1:30pm-7:00pm and August 6th, 8:30am-12:00pm in each school's gym. Face coverings will be required upon entrance. If you are unable to attend or have questions, please contact your child's school.
UPDATE: As a courtesy during these trying times, the USD 456 Board of Education has elected to eliminate select enrollment fees. Class and organization dues will still be collected, but costs like textbook fees and equipment fees have been waived.
PLAN HIGHLIGHTS: All testing/contact tracing/quarantine/isolation measures are determined by an individual's personal health provider and/or the Osage County Health Department. USD 456 serves to assist those entities in the health response to positive cases.

PLAN HIGHLIGHTS: Multiple health mitigation strategies will be utilized: face coverings, temperature/symptom screenings, strategic hand-washing/sanitizing, social distancing where possible, and surface cleaning/sanitizing measures.
