Do you have a child turning 5 on or before August 31? If so bring them to Kindergarten Round Up, April 9 at 9:30 AM. It will be held in the commons area of the Elementary School in Quenemo.


Don't forget school will not be in session on Friday, April, 2.


State assessments start tomorrow April 1 in the district for grades 3 through 12.


First baseball game of the season at Council Grove. Boys are currently up 7-1 bottom of the 2nd. Great start, let’s go Trojans!

Today is International Social Work Day, so in honor, we say THANK YOU to our district social worker, Mary Sumner!


8th Grade Parents! Please make plans to attend our 8th grade transition meeting on Thursday March 18th, at 6:00pm. Parents and students welcome. See you there!

There will not be a dinner, but we are looking forward to honoring our basketball and cheer teams and hope you can join us!

We are extending the screenings for preschool. Please call the elementary school, 785-759-3512, if you have a preschool aged child. Screenings are available by appointment on Fridays.


Saturday, April 10 will be the elementary school's 5K run.
Registration forms are due back to the school by Friday, March 19. Registration forms can be found on our website in the document section in the elementary folder. This year the Booster Club will be hosting a to-go pancake breakfast. Be sure to stop and get some pancakes before you run them off.



Before they headed off for Spring Break our third graders had to find out if A. Wolf was guilty of accidentally offing the little pigs. You can watch the trial on our Facebook page.


Our soil conservation winners! Amelia took purple in the poster contest for 4, 5, and 6 grades. Lilly took white in the poster contest for 2 & 3 grades. Khloe took purple, Anna took blue, Kyle took red, and Matti took white in the poster contest for K & 1 grades.
