Dear USD 456 families,
As you were made aware earlier this year, PowerSchool was the subject of a cybersecurity incident. PowerSchool, in partnership with Experian, has started to send emails out to affected students. There is a lot of information in that email that can be overwhelming.
There are two sections to pay close attention to: the greeting that says "You are receiving this notice on behalf of" will tell you which student was affected and the section titled "What Information Was Involved". The second will tell you what could have been viewed and at the end of the paragraph, it will tell you what information was likely viewed for your student.
PowerSchool is offering two years of complimentary identity protection services to students and educators whose information was involved. For adult students and educators whose information was involved, this offer will also include two years of complimentary credit monitoring services. The instructions for signing up are in the email from PowerSchool.

The elementary school will be celebrating Read Across America week February 24 - 28 with a spirit week.
MENU CHANGE! Due to the recent weather and school closures, both buildings will be going to Cook's Choice until February 27. The veggie bar at the JH & HS will not be available until February 27.
Sub-State brackets, first round games are Monday 2/24/25 in Melvern.
Girls play at 6:00 followed by Boys.

Parent-teacher conferences will be moved to Wednesday, February 26 ONLY. They will be held between 4:00 and 8:00 PM. Conferences will not be scheduled in either building, please come at your convenience.
