The Lady Trojans Volleyball team has been starting their game days off by greeting elementary students and staff! The elementary has enjoyed having them start the day off with so much energy.






The JV Football Game scheduled for September 5 has been moved to September 11. It will be played in Burlingame. Kick-off will be at 5:00 PM

The elementary school will participate in a reading-themed spirit week to celebrate Kansas Literacy Week. Families are encouraged to share photos of them celebrating the themes each day, and tag @TTCLCESU for a chance to win new books.

Let’s meet our new elementary school secretary Jeannie Fine. She’s been a paraeducator for the last 16 years at West Franklin and here at MdCV. She and her husband have three kids and a granddaughter as well as 2 cats and a dog. When Ms. Jeannie isn’t handling everything in the office she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family. You can find them cruising around in their Jeeps. She is looking forward to working with all of the great staff members and the great students here at MdCV.
A fun fact about Ms. Jeannie is she lives on the same farm she grew up on outside of Melver.

Just a reminder there is no preschool tomorrow September 1 and no school for anyone on Monday, September 4.

Today we meet our new 5th grade teacher Dawn Hart. Mrs. Hart has 20 years of experience teaching 7-12 Language Arts. She and her husband have two daughters and a son-in-law. When not in the classroom she enjoys attending auto racing events, gardening, reading, baking, volleyball, and golf. Mrs. Hart also enjoys spending time at the lake. She is looking forward to being back in a small school district where she can get to know the students and their families.
A couple of fun facts about Mrs. Hart is she has gone to Australia and one of her daughters is our second-grade teacher Mrs. Hall.

Let’s give a warm MdCV welcome to Allyson Murrow, the elementary special education teacher. This is Mrs. Murrow’s 7th year teaching. She and her husband have two dogs and a cat. When she isn’t in the classroom she enjoys reading and watching movies. Mrs. Murrow looks forward to watching all the students grow this school year.
A fun fact about Mrs. Murrow is she enjoys the theater.
