
Schedule Change:
Due to HS Baseball Quarter Finals, the Spring Sports Awards Banquet and NHS Ceremony that are scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th, have been cancelled. It is rescheduled for Tuesday, May 21st, at 5:00pm (NHS) and 6:00pm (Sports Banquet).


MdCV FFA Horticulture class Plant Sale will be from May 6-10 from 8:00am-4:00pm. Get your plants while supplies last!


Elementary play day was a success!! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our students today. A huge thank you to Ms. Dyke and the high school students for organizing and running it so smoothly today.


UPDATE:
The 6th and 7th grade visit to Cowtown/All-Stars is scheduled for Wednesday May 15th. Students will need to bring $20 to the school before May 10th to attend.

All events are open to the public to celebrate these amazing students.


May 3 will be the elementary school's play day rain or shine. If the weather is good we will have it on the football field so please bring chairs & blankets. Activities will start at 1. We invite our students' families to join them for lunch.
Lunch Schedule:
1st and 2nd lunch will be at 10:45 am
3rd and Kindergarten lunch will be at 11:15 am
4th and 5th lunch will be at 11:30 am
Preschool lunch will be at 12:30 pm

The JH LCL Track Meet has been POSTPONED until FRIDAY MAY, 3rd at Madison at 10:00am.


On Tuesday, April 30th the MdCV JH students and staff traveled to Burlington Rec. Center for a day full of swimming, volleyball, basketball, and fun in celebration of the end of State Testing.


NOTIFICATION: As per district policy, the USD 456 Board of Education has determined non-resident enrollment capacity for the 2024-2025 school year. Opening June 1st and closing June 30th, USD 456 will be accepting new non-resident student enrollment applications for the coming school year via an online form. Notification of the online form will be shared when opened. Current non-resident students will continue enroll as previously conducted. Saturday, April 27 is the annual elementary school carnival. Thanks to the generosity of community members and businesses we will have a raffle throughout the day for gift cards and smaller items as well as the bikes, iPad, Airpod Pros, and Beats Headphones.
The KSU helmet signed by Duece Vaughn will be available as a silent auction item along with a Pontoon rental at Melvern Lake, and reserved seating for events at the elementary school. Today is National School Bus Driver Appreciation day! Please take a moment to thank Birdie, Nancy, Mike V, Mike S, Lori, Jeremy, and Eric for getting our students to and from school and their activities safely each and every day.
