From engineering and agriculture to healthcare, culinary arts, ministry, and military service, the MdCV Class of 2027 is preparing to make its mark on the world!
On Thursday, October 22, the Marais des Cygnes Valley Senior Class of 2027 stood before their fellow students and teachers to share something exciting: their plans for life after high school.
For many of our seniors, these plans represent years of hard work, dedication, and preparation. Some have already received college acceptance letters, others are completing technical certifications, and several are preparing to pursue careers that will make a difference in the lives of others.
While their paths may be different, they share something special: they are all MdCV Trojans, and they are preparing to take the next big step in their lives!

Big Dreams From a Small School
One of the things that makes MdCV special is that our students have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of interests and career pathways.
Whether through college preparatory courses, career and technical education, dual-credit opportunities, agriculture, athletics, fine arts, or other school programs, our goal is to help every student discover their strengths and prepare for a successful future.
We are especially proud that several members of this senior class have already earned college acceptances, while others have taken advantage of technical education opportunities before even completing high school.
These accomplishments demonstrate that students from small rural schools can pursue big dreams and compete for opportunities anywhere.
More Than Just a Diploma
At MdCV, we believe success after high school does not look the same for every student, and it shouldn't have to.
For some, success means earning a four-year college degree. For others, it means developing a skilled trade, pursuing technical education, entering the workforce, or serving our country through military service.
Our responsibility as educators is not to choose our students' futures for them. It is to help prepare them for the futures they choose.
We want our graduates to leave MdCV with more than a diploma. We want them to have the knowledge, confidence, skills, and work ethic needed to build successful and fulfilling lives.
Trojan Family!
To the Class of 2027, we are incredibly proud of you!
You still have several months of high school ahead of you, and there are many memories yet to be made. But seeing you stand before your peers and confidently share your plans for the future was a proud moment for our school.
We also want to thank the teachers, staff, families, and community members who have helped guide and support these young people throughout their educational journeys.
We look forward to celebrating even more accomplishments with this class as graduation approaches.
No matter where life takes you, remember where you started, work hard, treat people right, and never forget that you will always be part of the MdCV family.
Congratulations, Class of 2027! Your future is bright, and we can't wait to see what you accomplish!
