MdCV Trojans Featured on 2026 Kansas Pregame Cover
Dalton Lingenfelter and Landon Reed represent MdCV among football players from across Kansas
Marais des Cygnes Valley has plenty to be proud of as the 2026 football season gets underway. MdCV students Dalton Lingenfelter and Landon Reed are featured on the cover of the 2026 Kansas Pregame Football Preview, standing alongside high school football players representing programs from across the state.
For a small rural school like MdCV, seeing two Trojans included on a statewide football cover is pretty special.
Dalton and Landon can be seen on the right side of the cover proudly wearing the blue and orange TROJANS across their jerseys. They are representing more than themselves. They are representing their teammates, coaches, school, families, and the communities that support MdCV athletics.
Kansas Pregame's annual football preview celebrates high school football throughout Kansas and brings together athletes from schools of every size. Having two MdCV students included is another reminder that the size of a school does not determine the size of its opportunities or accomplishments.
Dalton and Landon have both shown the kind of commitment and involvement that we want our students to demonstrate. Their recognition on the cover is something they have earned, but it is also something our entire Trojan family can celebrate with them.
At MdCV, we talk often about working hard, representing our school the right way, and taking pride in being a Trojan. Seeing Dalton Lingenfelter and Landon Reed representing MdCV on the 2026 Kansas Pregame cover is a pretty good example of all three.
