Marais des Cygnes Valley junior Aubrey Vogeler reached an impressive milestone on April 6, 2026, recording her 100th strikeout of the season during the Trojans’ home game against Mission Valley. By the end of the game, Vogeler had raised her season total to 102 strikeouts.
As an 11th grade pitcher for the MdCV softball team, Aubrey has continued to be an important part of the Trojans’ program this spring. Reaching 100 strikeouts in a season is a major accomplishment and a reflection of the work, focus, and determination she has shown in the circle.
When asked what she is most proud of this season, Aubrey kept the focus on her team.
“I am very proud of how hard we have worked as a team,” she said.
That team-first mindset has helped define her season, along with a steady commitment to improving her game.
“I have been trying to focus on the little things to improve my overall pitching,” Aubrey said.
The MdCV softball team is led by head coach Melissa Criqui and assistant coach Lisa Reeser. Aubrey is the daughter of Eric and Amber Vogeler.
