Several MdCV students in grades 10–12 recently had the opportunity to travel to Manhattan to visit the campus of Kansas State University and learn more about the many opportunities available to them after high school.
During the visit, students toured the beautiful K-State campus, learned about academic programs, and explored the wide range of activities and support services available to college students. Trips like this help our students begin thinking about their future, whether that includes attending a four-year university, pursuing a technical program, or exploring other career pathways.
Seeing a college campus firsthand allows students to ask questions, picture themselves in that environment, and better understand what steps they may need to take during their high school years to reach their goals.
Experiences like this are an important part of helping our students prepare for life after graduation. We appreciate Kansas State University for hosting our students and giving them a glimpse into what the future could hold.
It was a great day of learning, exploring, and planning for what comes next for our Trojans.
