On November 2nd, 2019, USD 456 - Marais des Cygnes Valley opened an online survey to assess its' ability in engaging parents in the education of their children. This survey is part of the district's annual process for long-range planning and state accreditation.

Created by the Kansas Department of Education's Technical Assistance Support Network as a tool to help school districts, the survey provides administrators and educators the opportunity to recognize strengths in their family engagement practices and create strategies for improvement.

Specifically, this document is utilized by the District Site Council in developing relevant district action plans regarding the district goal of "All students' stakeholders will be engaged." Currently, the District Site Council meets twice a year to analyze available data, provide constructive feedback, and develop action plans with district staff.

If you are a district parent or guardian, please take a few moments and fill out this online survey: Responses will be collected through November 13th, 2019. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your help!
