The Marais des Cygnes Valley School District has upgraded to an online student data system for the 2011-2012 school year. This means that students and parents can now access grade information online using our new interface, Parent Connect! Since this online gradebook is completely new for our teachers, they have gone through a brief training session, and have been working to get comfortable with the new gradebook program. At the same time, our staff has been working to get the interface ready for parents and students to have online access. We met our goal of sending out instructional letters to parents, regarding this new system, with the progress reports that were mailed on September 24th. Those letters included logon instructions, user names, and passwords, as well as information about some of the features available in Parent Connect. To print reports in Parent Connect, you will need to use Active X or Adobe Reader. To download Adobe Reader, you can go to: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/.
